The FBU have recently agreed with the Senior Leadership Team that under the "Transfer & Matching" arrangements a mobility clause should apply to members who do not meet the direct match criteria. This means that any uniformed member will not be asked to work outwith the previous employment territory unless;

1) They volunteer to work in another territory

2) They accept the offer of a promoted post

This should give a reassurance that no individual shall be asked to travel unreasonably and that extensive travel will not be used against members.
